Inspection of German Pilsner malt

At the start of September 2020, Qualitas Group performed an inspection at the loading of a vessel with 4.000 tons of German pilsner malt. A quantity of malt for some 20 million litres of beer. The inspection tasks on behalf of the German supplier included a pre-loading hold inspection of the vessel, inspection of the cargo in combination with organoleptic analyses, increment sampling and sample homogenisation for the purpose of producing final contractual samples representative of the cargo, and weight inspection. We were happy to have had good weather for this job!
